The JR4000 Series is Janome’s latest flagship model, purpose-built for PCB depaneling applications. Equipped with a high-speed spindle motor, the robot performs router-based cutting, enabling highly precise contour processing of printed circuit boards.
High-Precision Machining
The router cutting method minimizes stress on PCBs while delivering clean, smooth cutting edges.
With Continuous Path (CP) control, the robot executes seamless cutting trajectories with exceptional accuracy—from straight lines to complex curves—ensuring consistent quality across every part.
Space-Saving Design
An integrated overhead dust collection system eliminates the need for an external dust extractor. This compact design reduces installation footprint while offering greater flexibility when configuring production lines.
Tool Replacement Notification
The built-in “Notification Timer” allows users to set scheduled tool replacement intervals. This proactive feature simplifies maintenance and helps maintain consistent cutting quality over time.
Enhanced Safety Design
The system can detect cutting load and positional deviations during operation. In the event of an abnormal condition, the robot automatically stops to ensure safety. Cutting torque is also displayed in real time, allowing operators to easily monitor machining status.
For added protection, a safety cover can be installed. Note: The safety cover is optional for the JR4503ERT model, and not included with the JR4603 model.
JR C-Points III PC Software
JR C-Points III is Janome’s proprietary software, designed for creating, editing, and storing programs as well as teaching data directly on a PC.
Teaching and Position Correction with USB Camera
When connected to a USB camera, users can teach points directly on the PC screen using magnified images, enabling faster and more precise operation.
The system also supports automatic position correction based on camera input, ensuring accurate cutting even when parts are misaligned. No specialized camera is required—standard USB cameras are fully sufficient.
Graphical Point Editing
The software supports importing files such as DXF and JPG to create and edit cutting paths, including lines, circles, and arcs. Tool paths and alignment can be adjusted directly on-screen, making it easy to handle even complex geometries with precision.
Additionally, the JR4000 supports spline import, and its updated interface enables faster program creation from DXF files.
Tool Offset Function
Users can input the tool diameter, allowing the system to automatically compensate for the tool radius in the cutting path. This simplifies programming and optimizes toolpath accuracy.
Multilingual Support
The PC software supports Japanese, English, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). Users can easily switch languages, making it ideal for multinational production environments.
Teaching Pendant with 11 Language Options
The teaching pendant supports 11 languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Korean, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Czech, and Vietnamese. Languages can be switched instantly, making it well-suited for international teams and global manufacturing facilities.
Large Program Capacity
The system can store up to 999 programs and 32,000 points. This capacity is ideal for high-mix, low-volume production lines as well as complex automated systems.
