About SOLIDWORKS INNOVATION DAY 2026
SOLIDWORKS INNOVATION DAY 2026 (SWID 2026) is an annual technology event hosted by ViHoth Solutions, held on October 4th, 2025 at Sheraton Hanoi West.
Under the theme “Let’s Amaze Together!”, the 2026 edition not only commemorated ViHoth’s 15-year journey with SolidWorks but also served as a platform connecting engineers, researchers, and businesses to discuss how digital transformation and design automation are reshaping modern manufacturing.
The program featured a rich lineup of activities, including:
- A showcase of SolidWorks 2026’s latest features, designed to make design, simulation, and production management faster and smarter.
- Keynotes from Dassault Systèmes, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Dell Vietnam, focusing on how innovation and digital infrastructure are driving industrial modernization..
- A “Let’s Collaborate Together” talk show, where experts and businesses exchanged ideas on applying new technologies in design and production..
- A spotlight presentation by Temas, titled “Robot & AI – Integrated Robot, Vision Camera and AI Solutions for Flexible Manufacturing”, which drew strong attention from engineers and manufacturing enterprises.
Beyond the presentations, attendees also enjoyed live technology demos, photo booths, mini-games, and lucky draws, creating a lively and inspiring atmosphere that strengthened connections within Vietnam’s engineering community.
Temas Presentation: “Robot & AI – The Key to Flexible Manufacturing”
Representing Temas Engineering JSC, Mr. Bui Van Chi – General Director, delivered an in-depth presentation titled “Techman AI Cobot – Empowering the Smart Manufacturing Ecosystem” at SOLIDWORKS INNOVATION DAY 2026 (SWID 2026). The talk drew significant attention from engineers and industry professionals attending the event.
During the presentation, Mr. Chi emphasized that the integration of collaborative robots (Cobots), vision cameras, and artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the next evolution of smart factories — where robots can adapt autonomously, detect defects, and make decisions in real time.
“We believe the future of robotics goes beyond being just a tool on the production floor. Robots should become an intelligent assistant that truly supports human work. To achieve this, robots must have intelligence, vision, and dexterity. That’s why we are committed to advancing three core technologies — AI, vision, and robotics — and integrating them into our AI Cobot”– shared Mr. Bui Van Chi, General Director of Temas.
The presentation highlighted Temas’ latest AI Vision-integrated solutions for Techman collaborative robots, featuring:
- 👉Built-in vision system mounted directly on the robot arm, enabling real-time object recognition, barcode reading, and defect inspection during operation.
- 👉User-friendly AI Neural software, which allows intuitive drag-and-drop AI training without the need for complex programming.
- 👉Advanced AOI & AI Server architecture that ensures high-speed data processing and exceptional accuracy in visual inspection and defect analysis.
This integrated Robot–Vision–AI solution helps manufacturers to:
- ✅ Optimize production automation workflows.
- ✅ Handle complex and variable tasks that traditional robots struggle to perform.
- ✅ Enhance productivity and quality control across manufacturing processes.

Flying Trigger – A Highlight Feature of Techman AI Cobot Demonstrated at the Event
At the demo zone of SWID 2026, Temas showcased the impressive Flying Trigger feature of the Techman AI Cobot, capturing the attention and curiosity of engineers and automation experts throughout the exhibition.
The Flying Trigger technology enables the robot to capture and analyze images while in motion, eliminating the need to stop at each inspection point as in conventional methods.
By precisely synchronizing motion control, digital signals, and image capture, this feature allows the system to:
- Significantly shorten inspection time,
- Enhance image stability and accuracy, and
- Boost visual inspection throughput without interrupting robot movement.
Flying Trigger allows robots to capture high-quality images on the fly — without stopping
Thanks to these cutting-edge technologies, Techman AI Cobot opens up new possibilities for industrial automation in Vietnam, especially in sectors such as electronics manufacturing, semiconductor production, automotive assembly, machinery, component manufacturing, and food & beverage processing, etc.
Temas’ participation and presentation at SWID 2026 reaffirm its strong expertise and reputation in collaborative robotics, AI vision, and industrial automation. Beyond providing equipment, Temas delivers comprehensive technology solutions that help Vietnamese manufacturers enhance productivity, reduce costs, and move toward truly smart factories.
