Techman Robot Seminar 2026 - Ho Chi Minh City

On September 18, 2026, Temas and TECHMAN ROBOT hosted the Techman Robot Seminar 2026 at New World Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Under the theme “Empower Your Automation with AI Cobots - Driving Smarter, Faster, and More Flexible Manufacturing", the event brought together engineers, technical managers, and production leaders looking for practical ways to improve automation performance on the factory floor.

Rather than focusing only on new robot features, the seminar explored how Techman technologies can be applied to real manufacturing challenges. Temas also showcased several automation systems in a dedicated demo area, where attendees could see AI Vision, 3D Vision, AMRs, and robotic applications running live.

Techman Robot seminar 2026: “Empower Your Automation with AI Cobots - Driving Smarter, Faster, and More Flexible Manufacturing"

The seminar opened with welcoming remarks from Mr. Bui Van Chi, Director of Temas Engineering JSC, who greeted customers and partners attending the event.

Mr. Ray Wu, representative of TECHMAN ROBOT, then shared updates on Techman’s current robot portfolio, upcoming products, and recent technology developments

The technical session “Empower Your Automation with AI Cobots” was presented by Mr. Phan Dang Khoa, Head of Engineering at Temas.

Key Technologie

Several key technologies were introduced:

  • Flying Trigger, which enables high-speed image capture and inspection while the robot remains in motion
  • Automatic TCP Calibration: designed to reduce manual calibration work and simplify robot setup
  • 3D Vision: enabling robots to identify, locate, and pick objects in three-dimensional space
  • AMR integrated with AI Cobot: combining robotic manipulation with mobile automation to extend the robot’s working range.

Turning AI Cobot Technology into Real Factory Solutions

New technology only matters when it can solve real production problems. During the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoang, an engineer at Temas, presented several case studies based on automation projects successfully delivered by the Temas engineering team using Techman AI Cobot technologies.

These projects showed how technologies such as AI Vision, 3D Vision, Flying Trigger, and flexible part feeding can work together as part of a complete automation system. Instead of viewing each technology as a standalone feature, attendees could see how different components can be integrated to solve specific production challenges, from inspection and part handling to machine tending and flexible manufacturing.

Live Technology Demonstrations

The live demonstration area was one of the most engaging parts of the seminar. It gave attendees the opportunity to see the technologies discussed during the presentations running in actual automation applications and to speak directly with Temas engineers about how similar solutions could be applied in their own factories.

Flying Trigger: High-Speed Inspection Without Stopping the Robot

In a conventional machine vision application, a robot often needs to move to an inspection point, stop, wait for the camera to capture an image, and then continue to the next step.

Flying Trigger removes this stop-and-go process.

The system can trigger image capture and perform inspection while the robot is still moving, allowing the operation to continue without stopping at every inspection position. By reducing unnecessary waiting time, this technology can help shorten cycle times and improve throughput in high-speed inspection applications.

Techman 3D Vision: Flexible 3D Bin Picking

Another live demonstration featured Techman 3D Vision for flexible object detection and robotic picking.

The system can:

  • Recognize objects using 3D data.
  • Determine their position and orientation
  • Perform 3D bin picking
  • Support accurate and flexible pick-and-place operations

This is especially useful when parts are randomly arranged in bins, trays, or containers rather than presented in fixed positions.

Instead of relying on complex fixtures or positioning mechanisms, the robot can use 3D vision data to locate each part and determine an appropriate picking pose. This makes the system more flexible when handling variations in part position and orientation.

TMR-300 with Techman Robot: Bringing Mobility to Robotic Automation

The TMR-300 mobile robot integrated with a Techman robotic arm demonstrated how robotic automation can move beyond a fixed workstation. The system can autonomously navigate around the factory, transport materials between production areas, and perform robotic tasks at multiple locations.

This type of configuration opens up applications such as:

  • Machine tending
  • Material replenishment
  • Work-in-process transportation
  • Multi-station robotic operations
  • Production line support

By combining AMR mobility with a collaborative robot, manufacturers can deploy a single robotic system across multiple work areas instead of dedicating one robot to one fixed station.

Automatic TCP Calibration with the Temas TMF-300 Flexible Part Feeder

Another demonstration highlighted the integration between Techman Robot technology and the Temas product ecosystem. The system combined Automatic TCP Calibration with the Temas TMF-300 Flexible Part Feeder.

A robot’s Tool Center Point, or TCP, defines the reference point used to position its end-of-arm tooling accurately. In production environments, changing a gripper or tool, replacing components, or experiencing small mechanical deviations may require the TCP to be recalibrated.

Automatic TCP Calibration simplifies this process by reducing the amount of manual adjustment required and helping maintain consistent robot accuracy.

Once calibration was completed, the Techman robot worked together with the TMF-300 Flexible Part Feeder to locate, identify, and pick individual parts.

This type of solution is particularly suitable for production lines that:

  • Handle multiple product variants
  • Change products frequently
  • Are not suitable for conventional bowl feeders
  • Require flexible robotic part feeding
  • Need to reduce changeover time between models

More Than a Demo: Discussing Real Automation Challenges

One of the most valuable parts of the seminar was the direct interaction between customers and the engineering team. Throughout the demonstration sessions, attendees spent time observing the systems, discussing technical details with Temas engineers, and sharing automation challenges from their own production lines.

This reflects one of the main goals of Techman Robot Seminar 2026. The aim was not simply to show robots in action, but to help manufacturers identify processes in their own factories where automation could deliver measurable value.

From Techman Robot Distribution to Complete Automation Systems

Temas is an authorized Techman Robot distributor in Vietnam and also provides complete robot integration and industrial automation solutions. Our engineering team works with customers from application evaluation and system design through integration, commissioning, and deployment.

Depending on the application, Techman robots can be integrated with technologies and equipment such as:

  • AI Vision and machine vision
  • 3D Vision
  • Flexible part feeders
  • AMRs
  • Grippers and other end-of-arm tooling
  • Product inspection systems

Our goal is not simply to add a robot to a production line. We focus on building automation systems that address real manufacturing requirements, including productivity, accuracy, flexibility, changeover time, and long-term operational reliability.
