What is TC80-D3V? What is this converter capable of?
TC80-D3V is a compact DIN-rail mount torque converter with the following major features:
- High-speed sampling of 16kS/s visualizes steep torque fluctuations.
- Supports the UTM series rotary encoder option.
- 3ch analog output (torque, rotation speed, and angle) at the same time.
- Data storage function. Data can be read at a time.
Build more user-friendly system as a dedicated monitor for UTM series
By using with UTMIII with the rotary encoder, TC80-D3V can output 3 channels (torque, rotation speed and angle) in analog format simultaneously. Data can be recorded as synchronized condition when being retrieved by logger or oscilloscope.
Furthermore, with the dedicated software for TC80, setting change, waveform display and data recording can be managed on PC.
In the video below, you can see a test of changing the load on the brake while the motor voltage is constant.
Not only T-N curve, but various waveforms can be drawn simultaneously.
Utilize high-pass filter!
OK/NOK judgment by removing undulation of torque
Not only low-pass filter but high pass filter can be selected with TC80-D3V.
For example, a torque meter can be used for detecting defective gears (such as cracked or poor assembling etc.)
However at production lines, OK/NOK judgment may not work due to undulation of equipment.
Those undulations can be removed by the low-pass filter of UTMIII and the high-pass filter of TC80-D3V!
This will enable NOK judgment on defective items.
Compact size
Light-weight, compact 35mm DIN-rail type. Best suited for built-in.
